1 Corinthians 11:17; 1 Corinthians 11:26–27
11:17 Now in this that I declare unto you I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come. 11:27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
11:17 In the following instructions I have no praise to offer, because your gatherings do more harm than good. 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. 11:27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.
