Does the heart need a restraint?
Yes.
For it is desperately wicked,

And does the law of God lay a restraint upon the heart?
Yes.
For the law is spiritual,
Romans 7:14
And will a restraint upon the sins of the heart be the most effectual preservative from all other sins?
Yes.
Cleanse first that which is within the cup or platter, that the outside may be clean also,
