And have his people always ascribed it to him?
Yes.

No.

For he says, I and my Father are one,

Are there many gods in name?
Yes.

There are gods many, and lords many,

But are these gods by nature?
No.

When ye knew not God, ye did service to them which by nature are no gods,
Galatians 4:8

Are they then to be reputed of?
No.

We know that an idol is nothing in the world,
1 Corinthians 8:4

Are those guilty of the greatest absurdity who worship them?
Yes.

Those that make them are like unto them, and
Psalm 115:8

Do we well therefore not to imitate them?
Yes.

Little children, keep yourselves from idols,
